HIGH FREQUENCY RADIO

Delete your data

Covers the High Frequency Radio Android app and highfrequencyradio.org

The short version: there are no accounts, so there is no account to delete. The station holds at most two things that came from you: an anonymous listener ID, and an album request if you chose to send one. Both are yours to erase, and this page tells you exactly how.

The anonymous listener ID

The app invents a random ID on your device to count song ratings and plays once per listener. The server keeps only a one-way hash of it: nothing that identifies you, nothing we could trace back to you if we tried. To erase it:

Your Album requests

If you sent a request through the Your Album page, the station holds the name, contact, and answers you typed: nothing more, shared with no one. Ask, and the whole request is deleted permanently.

Ask for deletion

One email does it. Tell us roughly when you sent your request (or that you want your votes removed) and it will be handled by a person, not a system, within 30 days, usually much faster.

Everything else

Songs you saved live only in the app's private storage on your own device. Deleting them, or the app, removes them. There is nothing else: no accounts, no profiles, no analytics trail. The full story is in the privacy policy.
